Three Steps To Winning The Pick 3 Lottery
Winning the Pick 3 (or Daily 3) lottery is much easier than trying to win Powerball, Fantasy 5, Pick 4, and all greater-than-three number lotteries. You’re odds of being hit by lightning in one day are better than trying to win some of these higher number lottery games. For those who want to focus on beating the lottery, the game to play is Pick 3.
The best (highest probability) method is to develop a system that uses the 3 steps below:
- Play unmatched numbers. Unmatched numbers consist of combinations of numbers in which no single number repeats. For example, numbers like 1-7-6, 2-4-6, 9-5-3, etc… are all unmatched numbers.
- Eliminate triple combinations and double combinations. Triple combinations are numbers like 3-3-3 5-5-5, 6-6-6, etc… and double combinations are numbers like 2-2-1, 0-3-3, or 8-7-7, etc.
- Bet using box bet betting. If you are unfamiliar with box betting, box betting allows you to pick numbers such as 1-2-3 and win with 1-2-3, 2-3-1, 3-1-2, 3-2-1, 1-3-2, and 2-1-3. It does not matter what order you pick the numbers in, you will win!
Why do we want to follow these three steps? Simple, you can increase your odds of winning the Pick 3 lottery significantly.
Unmatched numbers in the Pick 3 lottery account for 72% of all combinations. This means that they cover 720 out of the possible 1000 combinations in the Pick 3 lottery.
More importantly you can cover all of those numbers with only 120 boxed combinations .
Now what do you do?
You have to use some common sense to apply these rules to increase your odds of winning the Pick 3 or Daily 3 lottery.
Let’s think about what we know:
- Unmatched numbers come up 720 out of 1000 draws
- Doubles come up 270 out of 1000 draws
- Triples come up 10 out of 1000 draws
Or to put it another way,
- Unmatched numbers come up 72% of the time
- Doubles come up 27% of the time
- Triples come up 1% of the time
If you have just had a recent triple in your state Daily 3 lottery, you can be pretty sure that you won’t have another for a while (this is not guaranteed, just very probable).
It also means that if you play the 120 number set of boxed unmatched numbers during this time, you will have almost a 100% chance of beating the Pick 3 and obtaining a winner.
If you have just had a recent double in your state Daily 3 lottery, you can be pretty sure that you won’t have another for a while (this is not guaranteed, just probable).
This means that if you choose your time to play unmatched numbers intelligently, you change the odds of winning from 72% to near 100%.
Don’t get too excited at this point. While you may have almost a 100% chance of beating the lottery with this strategy, you have to spend $120 to get an average of $60 back. This is still a losing proposition.
However, there are ways of combining this strategy with other number eliminating strategies to narrow your choices dramatically and increase your odds of winning profitably and consistently.
